class foxes.models.partial_wakes.PartialAxiwake(foxes.models.partial_wakes.PartialCentre)[source]

Partial wake calculation for axial wake models.

The basic idea is that the x-dependent part of the wake model is evaluated only once, and the radial part then for n radii that cover the target rotor discs.

The latter results are then weighted according to the overlap of radial wake circle area deltas and the target rotor disc area.

Attributes

n: int

The number of radial evaluation points

Public members

PartialAxiwake(n=6)[source]

Constructor.

__repr__()[source]

Return repr(self).

check_wmodel(wmodel, error=True)[source]

Checks the wake model type

contribute(algo, mdata, fdata, tdata, downwind_index, ...)[source]

Modifies wake deltas at target points by contributions from the specified wake source turbines.

get_wake_points(algo, mdata, fdata)[source]

Get the wake calculation points, and their weights.

finalize_wakes(algo, mdata, fdata, tdata, amb_res, ...)[source]

Updates the wake_deltas at the selected target downwind index.

new_wake_deltas(algo, mdata, fdata, tdata, wmodel)[source]
